Ares the God of War hated to lose at what he is the God of…WAR. So he decided to bring back the greatest Warriors from the past and put them through 1000’s of year’s of evolution. Ares had convinced the gods that since his warriors had died 1000’s of years earlier; they would naturally have evolved to adapt to their current environment. Many of the gods were displeased with Ares’method. However, his method was perfectly legal and within their rules. Ultimately, Ares created A New Generation of Warrior. His warriors which had the face of a beast and the body of a man became the team of envy throughout the games. Ares’ warriors were masters at hand to hand combat, earning the nickname “Heavy Knucklez”. All who entered into the Acropolis Cage to challenge them met with a swift, brutal and oftentimes fatal defeat.

Heavy Knucklez launched an MMA themed Comic Book, “Pankration 3042 #1” in April 2011. This four part Comic Book Series explores the Ancient Martial Art of Pankration (the predecessor to Mixed Martial Arts and the UFC of today) and takes you on an action packed journey into the 31st Century. The Heavy Knucklez Comic Book Series will be the first to combine Mixed Martial Arts and Mythology to form fictional storylines. "Pankration 3042 " - Written by Peter Quinones (Phantom 2040, G.I. The Heavy Knucklez story begins sometime during the 31st century. The Greek gods agreed to bring back Pankration to a mythical Acropolis in Greece. However, since the gods had superhuman powers; they agreed to somewhat level the playing field by abiding by certain rules.
The rules stated that only Warriors from the past or present could fight in the games. They could only use hand to hand combat. Godly creations or anything not from the earth were not permitted. The greatest warriors from around the globe were chosen to fight in the Pankration events.
The Greek god of gods Zeus was able to choose 1st. His choice was to bring back the Minotaurs. At an unknown period in time, Minotaurs walked the earth but because few people ever saw them, they were believed by most to be mythical creatures. No one could withstand Zeus’ team of Minotaurs. They were devastating the competition & controlling the Acropolis Cage. Humans could not withstand their blows.
